June 1- Pray for our little army of orphans in Sudan and that we all might
take to heart God’s word in James 1:27: “ Religion that God our Father
accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in
their distress…”  The distress continues as we just learned that food
prices are up 30 percent due to crop failures last fall.

June 2- Pray for Ashley Courtney, Dean’s personal assistant as she goes with
her church on a mission trip to Yucatan  from June  2-9.

June 3- Pray for our partnership with Call to Africa as they assist us in
securing help and support for our 499 orphans in Sudan.

June 4- Pray for Melaku Abebe who is now our acting Northeast Director of
Africa. Pray for his trip to go back and oversee the work and care of the
orphans which God has given us.

June 5-8 – Pray for Dean as he goes to preach at a Revival in Milton< Kansas
where a number of churches from that area will be in attendance.

June 9- Pray for Trevor Smothers as he is in Ethiopia serving alongside
Melaku and assisting in our English School for Evangelism.

June 10- Pray for greater passion and courage for each one of us to take
more seriously the charge from God to be fearless in proclaiming the gospel
of God’s grace.

June 11- Pray for the drilling of the well in Mombasa, Kenya as we have had
some difficulties with various attempts to get this done.

June 12- Pray for the medical clinic in Meki, Ethiopia as we look to finish
the septic tank along with the water distribution system.

June 13- Pray for our Crossway Coffee Ministry as we look to the Lord to use
all the proceeds to help sustain and feed our orphans. We estimate that half
of their needs is being generated through this ministry and providing high
grade coffee to those who order it.

June 14- Pray for Dean as he preaches at Currey Creek Baptist Church and
encourages them in their faith.

June 15- Pray for Dean’s plans to go to Nicaragua and minister with
university students and teach his seminar on evangelism.

June 16- Pray for not just more laborers in God’s harvest but for people of
integrity and faithfulness.  In many parts of the world, corruption is a
part of life even among Christian leaders.

June 17- Pray that the man we have invited to train the villagers of Adoor
will successfully train them in the area of irrigation and farming now that
they have wells to provide water 12 months out of the year.

June 18- Pray for Dean as he speaks at Morningside at Menger Springs and
shares some on his past mission trip to Uganda and Kenya.

June 19- Pray for Dean as he considers the various open doors he has to
travel and train others in evangelism and community development.

June 20- Pray for Bob Nicol, our engineer who oversees the drilling of water
wells. He is working hard and giving much of his time devoted to making sure
things get done correctly

June 21- Pray for Dean as he shares in Scott Pospisil’s Class at First
Baptist Church in Boerne and that he and Robert Messier will challenge the
people to pray more for our ministry..

June 22- Pray for our Board of Directors meeting that we need to hold this
month. It’s hard to get busy people together.

June 23- Pray for the clarity of the gospel and that we all might use
terminology that is understood by all.

June 24- Pray for Moses Aguer Bol and Pastor Samuel Garang Kur who oversee
the care of the orphans. Pray for their wives too as they have some health
concerns.

June 25- Pray for Aaron Chollar, Dean and Joan’s grandson who suffers from
autism.  He is 8 years and making some progress but has a long way to go.
Pray for Jason and Danica as they love him and work hard to assist him in
his growth.

June 26- Pray for Jeremy and Rachel as they try to get Jeremy reassigned
closer to the San Antonio area so Joan can assist Rachel with her pregnancy
and birth of twins.

June 27- Pray for Micah and Heather as their whole family recovers from 2
bad car wrecks and whip lash.

June 28- Pray for Bethany and Adam as she just had her second child, Eli,
and that Adam might be able to secure a contract that allows him more time
at home and better pay.

June 29-  Pray for those who go into harm’s way to share the gospel of God’s
grace and love.

June 30- Pray that our hearts will not grow cold to the lost but that we
might think and pray for others who need to place their trust in Christ
alone for salvation.
