April 1 – Dean will be on his trip to Kenya from March 30 – April 9. Pray
for Dean as he meets with the CrossWay Sudan Board of Directors in Nairobi,
Kenya.  Also, Bob Nicol, our Engineer, and Merle Admire, our Master
Electrician, arrive in Nairobi, Kenya on this date.

April 2 – Pray for us three (Dean, Bob and Merle) as we travel up north to
Moffat Bible College in the Rift Valley area to interview workers for our
new division, CrossWay Water for Life.

April 3 – Dean and Bobb head off to Mombasa, Kenya to work and hold a
Pastors Conference with 150 pastors and hold some evangelistic events with
Chris Moore. We recently drilled a well on Chris Moore’s church compound
that serves thousands of people with free clean drinking water and the
Living Water Himself.  Merle heads off from Nairobi to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
to check on our Medical Clinic in Meki.

April 4 – Pray for Dean as he preaches on Easter Sunday and proclaims the
resurrection of Jesus Christ.  He is alive!

April 5 – Pray that God will raise up the needed funds to finish the
fabrication of our drilling rig which we plan to send to Kenya in June. We
have a ways to go, as it will cost around $65,000 to get this division of
CrossWay International up and running with our own rig, truck, equipment and
crew.

April 6 – Keep our U.S. staff in your prayers: Joan, the Office Manager;
Anna, the Executive Assistant; Robert, the General Manager; Sherry, the
Manager of CrossWay Coffee Ministry and Rita, the accountant.  Maybe Dean,
too :)

April 7 – Pray for upcoming trips by Dean to Indiana and three mission trips
this summer: 2 to Nicaragua in June and August and one to Guyana with Faith
Community Church.

April 8 – Pray for Merle and Dean as they finish up their trip to Africa and
visit with the Board of CrossWay Sudan in Nairobi. Pray for the registration
of CrossWay International as a non-profit, tax exempt organization in Kenya.

April 9 – Pray for Dean and Merle as they head back from Kenya to the USA.
Pray that our trip was a success and that many might have responded to the
gospel.

April 10 – Pray for Bob Nicol, as he will be in Ethiopia overseeing the
Medical Clinic in Meki and getting it in shape for approval by the Ethiopian
government. This Medical Clinic will be a strong magnet from which we can
evangelize in a town of 60,000 without any medical care.

April 11 – Pray for Bob Nicol as he visits the drought-stricken area of
eastern Kenya to determine where we need to drill some water wells and open
doors for Dean to return to teach and evangelize.

April 12 – Pray for our upcoming Board of Directors meeting on May 8 and the
new individuals joining our team. We are taking on 8 new Directors.

April 13 – Pray for the translation of some of our evangelistic materials
into Spanish for Central America and Swahili and Denka for Northeast Africa.

April 14 – Pray for the agricultural training going on in the village where
our 549 orphans live in Sudan (www.crosswayorphans.org) . We want this
village to get on its feet to look after these precious souls eventually
without help from us.  Pray for Tabitha, the wife of Moses, as she may have
appendicitis instead of worms.

April 15 – Pray for Rafael Rivas, our new Candidate Field Director and his
needed support. He marries in mid May and is doing already a great work in
Nicaragua by setting up a pastors conference and evangelistic events for us
in June.

April 16 – Pray for our income-generating projects in the village in Sudan
near Darfur where our 549 orphans live. We have a pickup truck which earns
$800 a month and a grinding machine for sorghum which earns $50 a month
right now.

April 17 – Pray for Dean as he heads off to the Indianapolis area to meet
with and preach at a church of dear friends, the Baileys and Sollidays, who
have supported our orphans in substantial ways.

April 18 – Pray for Dean as he personally thanks this church and preaches
and challenges folks to walk by faith and not by sight.

April 19 – Pray for another income-generating project we hope to start in
the village where our orphans are:  we want to buy sewing machines for the
ladies of the village to make clothes for the orphans and generate some
income and support for themselves.

April 20 – Pray for greater boldness for each of us to share their faith in
Christ. Write that email you have been holding back on to that person you
might befriend. Go ahead. Do it!

April 21 – Pray for more workers in God’s harvest as we continue our
exciting expansion into all the world to take the gospel of God’s matchless
grace!

April 22 – Pray specifically for Bruce McIntosh, Bob Nicol, Merle Admire,
and others as we look to God to raise up their support so they can more
fully serve in our ministry.

April 23 – Pray for Lawson Sampson and Malcolm Harris as we hope to expand
into western Africa to the countries of Nigeria and Liberia in 2011.

April 24 – Pray for more opportunities for Dean and each of us to share our
faith in Christ and the free gift of salvation.

April 25 – Pray for Dean as he preaches at Watermark church in Boerne. Pray
that hearts might be challenged.

April 26 – Pray for our new Communication Technician, Mark Seamans, as he
helps us with several issues with the internet and phone system. Pray too
for his daughter, Madison, who struggles with some eye issues.

April 27 – Pray for the clarity of the gospel and that each of us might
communicate clearly that it is only by grace alone, through faith alone, in
Christ alone who died for our sins and rose from the dead.

April 28 – A special personal prayer request: Please pray for Dean and
Joan’s grandson, Aaron, who suffers from autism and recently went to a
treatment center in California (C.A.R.D.) and had some good results. But
they still have some real serious issues to face.

April 29 – Pray for those who take the gospel into harm’s way and for their
safety.

April 30 – Pray right now for someone you might share the gospel with and
how you might take concrete steps to befriend them.
