December 1 – Pray for the busy Christmas season and all of the many opportunities it will give each of us to share our faith in Christ with friends and family.

December 2 – Pray for our 549 orphans in Sudan, as there are reports of violence breaking out within 3 hours of them.

December 3 – Pray for Rafa Rivas and Francisco Caldera, two of our coworkers who live in Nicaragua and assist us in arranging evangelistic events and Pastors’ Conference.

December 4 – Pray for Melaku Abebe, our Northeast Africa Field Director, and his wife Sosi.  Melaku has worked with us for 5 plus years and is doing a great job.

December 5 – Pray for Emmanuel Dimleck, a possible new coworker, who is Sudanese but lives in Kenya. We hope to send him into Sudan to assist the 10 teachers of our 549 orphans sometime soon.  This is dependent on the weather and potential violence in this region.

December 6 – Pray for Ken Gatithi, one of our Directors with CrossWay International—Kenya; he recently came down with malaria when assisting our drilling team in Mombasa.

December 7 – Pray for Geoffrey Ndungu, who recently lost his wife and serves now as our superintendent of our water well drilling team.

December 8 – Pray for greater boldness on all our parts to share the free gift of salvation by grace alone as God gives us opportunity.

December 9 – Pray for God’s provision as we look to Him for the remaining $20,000 to pay off our new drilling rig and tow truck.

December 10 – Pray for more laborers for God’s harvest.  The laborers are few but the harvest is great.

December 11 – Pray for the nurse we need to take on in Meki, Ethiopia so we can have our new Medical Clinic licensed and get it functional.

December 12 – Pray for Dr. Abebe, who heads up a Christian group of doctors in Ethiopia, and that we might be able to form a partnership with them to work in our new clinic in Meki.

December 13 – Pray for the final work needed in our Medical Clinic in Meki, Ethiopia (2 sinks need to be installed and the pump for the water well needs repair).

December 14 – Pray that we might be able to gain a hearing from the gospel through our new Medical Clinic in Meki and the free clean water supply we hope to provide to this clinic.

December 15 – Pray for the few Christian leaders in Meki, Ethiopia and an opportunity for my return to follow up on all this to preach the gospel and train them in evangelism.

December 16 – Pray for Dean’s plans to go to Djibouti in the coming months and open up a new area of ministry to this highly Muslim country (99 percent Muslim).

December 17 – Pray for Lawson Sampson and his church we helped start a number of years ago. He also has a very vibrant sports ministry in the country of Nigeria.

December 18 – Pray for Malcom Harris, another coworker of ours who pastors a church of 500 in Liberia, and the chance for me to visit and strengthen the believers of this country.

December 19 – Pray for Moses Aguer Bol, Pastor Samuel Garang Kur and Philip Piol, who oversee tour 549 orphans in Sudan and struggle with diseases and political violence in this region.

December 20 – Pray for our new evangelistic tool, the CrossWay Gift Cube, which clearly sets forth the free gift of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

December 21 – Pray for Samuel Garang Awer and his friend Santino in Sudan who oversee another 200 orphans.  They have asked us to consider helping, but we are unable at this point to do much.

December 22 – Pray for the 10 teachers of our 549 orphans, as we will be sending in dictionaries, a laptop and satellite phone to assist them in their work.

December 23 – Pray for Dean and Joan as they travel to one of their supporting churches where their son serves as the Worship Pastor, just north of Seattle. It will be a time of good fellowship and work as they spend time with family and church prayer partners.

December 24 – Be praying for opportunities to share your faith in Christ with your many friends and family members as the holiday season begins.

December 25 – Remember the reason for the season and say a prayer of thanksgiving for God sending His only Son, that whoever puts their trust in Him might have eternal life.

December 26 – Pray that each of us might be clear when sharing our testimony and the gospel of God’s grace and love.

December 27 – Pray for our four new missionaries with CrossWay International:  Merle Admire, Robert and Ann Messier, Bruce McIntosh and Bob Nicol.

December 28 – Pray for the spreading of the gospel that it might spread quickly and that it might be honored even as it is among us.

December 29 – Pray for Chris and Lisa Moore, friends of ours and missionaries in Mombasa, Kenya, who were recently burglarized and had a lot of medical and valuables stolen.

December 30 – Pray for all those who are in harm’s way and take the gospel to the ends of the world.

December 31 – Pray for the salvation of the lost who are in your circle of friends and acquaintances.
