February 2011 Prayer Calendar for Dean and Joan Chollar with CrossWay International
February 1 – Pray for what will be our recent Pastor’s Conference and evangelistic events in Nicaragua with our team of 8 and a safe return (Jan. 25 – 31). We hope to update you on all this when we get back.
February 2 – Pray for Merle Admire, a missionary and one of our Regional Directors, as he will be finishing up his report on the research of drilling water wells in Nicaragua from this past trip and which locations we should first drill a couple of wells as a means of reaching the lost.
February 3 – Pray for Bruce McIntosh, our Member Care Director, and for the follow-up and results of training pastors in Matagalpa, Nicaragua and plans for his next overseas mission trip.
February 4 – Pray for Robert and Ann Messier. Robert is our Director for the country of Nicaragua and will be involved in our decision-making process to reach the lost of this needy country. Ann will be developing our ministry for women and children for this country.
February 5 – Pray for Dean as he travels to Chantilly, Virginia to visit and preach in one of our supporting churches.
February 6 – Pray for Dean as he preaches a special installation sermon for Milt Johnson who will be assuming the role of Senior Pastor in this church.
February 7 – Pray for Dean as he travels back to Texas from Virginia and for opportunities to share his faith in Christ with others. Pray for opportunities for yourself as well.
February 8 – Pray for Bob Nicol, another of our missionaries and Regional Directors, as he will be in Kenya at this time, overseeing a drilling of another water well for a very needy community (perhaps as early as Jan. 27).
February 9 – Pray for Dean as he makes plans to travel to Djibouti, Africa to teach and check out ministry opportunities in March.
February 10 – Pray for Malcolm Harris, one of our coworkers in Liberia, as he sets up a Pastor’s Conference for Dean to teach in April in Liberia, Africa.
February 11 – Pray for our fellow coworkers in Nicaragua, Rafa Rivas and Francisco Caldera, as they continue to assist us in our outreach to the lost. Pray for their monthly support needs so they can serve without distraction in this area.
February 12 – Pray for Dean as he travels to the West Palm Beach, Florida area to participate in a missions conference of one of our supporting churches.
February 13 – Pray for Dean as he reports in and challenges folks at this church in Florida.
February 14 – Pray for your sweetheart or special friend and for Valentine’s day and for renewal of our love for each other.
February 15 – Pray for Lawson Sampson and the church we helped plant years ago and for a possible mission trip for Dean to Nigeria.
February 16 – Pray for Fernando Diaz and his ministry in the Madrid, Spain area and again for the timing of a visit from Dean to check in and see how things are going.
February 17 – Pray for a possible mission trip for Dean to accept an invitation to go to the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is a very troubled country.
February 18 – Pray for greater boldness on all our parts to share our faith in Christ. When good folks are silent, only the false message of works for our salvation will be heard.
February 19 – Pray for the clarity of the gospel, as many religious leaders pervert the gospel and add works to salvation. May we all clearly proclaim that our eternal salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
February 20 – Pray for Dean as he teaches at an evangelistic seminar at a church in San Antonio.
February 21 – Pray that God might raise up more coworkers to assist us in taking the gospel around the world.
February 22 – Pray for our 549 orphans in Sudan and for the continuing need to provide them food. Pray, too, for the crops the villagers will be planting this month to help bring them all to a more self-sustaining position.
February 23 – – Pray for Dean’s trip to Kenya next month as he lines up a Pastor’s Conference in Kasarani with Pastor Sylvester scheduled for next November.
February 24 – Pray for more workers in God’s harvest. We could really use someone to help organize and arrange Pastor’s Conferences overseas.
February 25 – Pray for the safety of those who travel or live in harm’s way who are taking the gospel to the ends of the world.
February 26 – Pray for Dean as he gets on another plane to travel this time to Maryland and preach at one of our supporting churches.
February 27 – Pray for Dean as he preaches at this supporting church and challenges them to live a life worth living and to add to their faith: Goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly-kindness and love in increasing measure. (2 Peter 1:5-7)
February 28 – Pray for Dean as he visits with the missions committee of this supporting church to give them a more detailed and personal update of our entire ministry.
