May 2011 Prayer Calendar
For Dean and Joan Chollar with CrossWay International
Note: Dean will be finishing up a Pastors’ Conference in Liberia (April 26 – May 1) with our Member Care Director, Bruce McIntosh, so pray that this all goes well.
May 1 – Pray for our new evangelistic tool, the CrossWay Gift Cube, and that many might be able to use it to proclaim the clear message of God’s grace. We have invested a lot of time and funds on this project and should have 2500 available by mid-May. To order, go to http://gocrossway.org/about/store/

May 2 – Pray for Dean as he visits with some friends in Belgium and with members of the Belgium Evangelical Mission.
May 3 – Pray for our upcoming Pastors’ Conference in Nicaragua (June 21 – 27) and for the Pastors in the USA who will assist Dean in the teaching of 50 + pastors in the Managua area (Michael Bannon and Andy Robinson).
May 4 – Pray for our water well drilling ministry in Kenya and for the funds needed to continue providing clean, safe drinking water for the truly hurting.

May 5 – Pray for Robert and Ann Messier as they lead a team from their church to Nicaragua to minister to the needy and lost in the Matagalpa area. This team of 5 will be gone from June 28 – July 5.

May 6 – Pray for Merle Admire as he leads another team of around 10 to the San Benito area of Nicaragua.

May 7 – Pray for the hurting kids under our care, especially for the 40 blind kids in Kenya who have come to our attention recently. They face some difficult needs.

May 8 – Pray for our new coworkers in Liberia, Malcom Harris and Isaac Zoedah, as we look into various possibilities of how we might partner together in the future.

May 9 – Pray for Rafa and Darling Rivas. Rafa is serving as our Director for Central America and we are looking to the Lord to strengthen his prayer and support needs.

May 10 – Pray also for Francisco and Jasmine Caldera. Francisco serves as our Field Director for Nicaragua, and he and Rafa are lining up the Pastors’ Conference in June, making arrangements for two mission teams from the USA and a host of other things. Pray for an increase in his prayer and support needs.

May 11 – Pray for our 10 teachers of the CrossWay Christian School in Sudan. We have sent in a coworker to strengthen their English ability.
May 12 – Pray for Dean’s stamina, as he has been traveling a lot and hopes to get some needed rest this month.
May 13 – Pray for greater fearlessness on the part of all believers, that we might boldly proclaim the grace of God and His plan of salvation.
May 14 – Pray for Ken and Winnie Gatithi. Ken is our Financial Manager for our water well drilling ministry in Kenya and handles more and more responsibility.
May 15 – And pray also for Geoffrey Ndungu, our Field Superintendent of our water well drilling ministry in Kenya. He is also taking on more and more responsibility as we move forward in providing clean, safe drinking water to the truly hurting.
May 16 – Pray for more coworkers as we move forward in our various ministries around the world and share God’s matchless grace.
May 17 – Pray for Pastor Solomon in Djibouti. He is one of two Pastors in this whole country that is 99 percent Muslim.
May 18 – Pray for Melaku and Sosi Abebe. Melaku serves as our Field Director for the country of Ethiopia and oversees a number of our ministries.

May 19 – Pray for our two Medical Clinics. The one in Meki, Ethiopia should be ready to open as we have funds available to purchase the needed equipment and meds. Also, the clinic in Sudan needs more antibiotics and other supplies.

May 20 – Pray for more opportunities for each of us to share our faith in Christ as we come in contact with those in our circle of friends and acquaintances.
May 21 – Pray for our Board of Directors meeting for CrossWay International and for all of our Directors.
May 22 – Pray for our staff in the USA and that we might continue to have a good team spirit in all our work.
May 23 – Pray for the clarity of the Gospel as we proclaim our eternal salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It’s not by the sweat of man but by the blood of Christ that we enter into our personal relationship with God.
May 24 – Pray for our four American missionaries: Merle Admire, Bruce McIntosh, Robert (and Ann) Messier, and Bob Nicol. Each of these is responsible for their own prayer and support needs, and we are seeing God move hearts.
May 25 – Pray for some other coworkers of ours which we have not seen in some time, including Lawson Sampson in Nigeria and Fernando Diaz in Spain.
May 26 – Pray for the safety of those who proclaim the gospel and are in harm’s way. Pray especially for those believers who serve in the military in foreign countries that are hostile to the gospel.
May 27 – Pray for the spreading of the gospel, that it might spread swiftly and be honored even as it is among us.
May 28 – Pray for our CrossWay Coffee Ministry and that it might increase in orders to help us with our various ministries and projects. See www.crosswaycoffee.org for more information.
May 29 – Pray for our expansion and for certain key positions to be filled here at CrossWay International so that we might serve the Lord more effectively.
May 30 – Pray for Dean’s speaking schedule as he begins to line up opportunities to preach and teach in the summer months. If you know of a church or group of believers that would like to be challenged to walk by faith and not by sight, please let us know.
May 31 – Stop right now, and pray for someone you may know who needs Christ, and consider what concrete step you might take to share your faith.
