September 1 – Pray for 6 year old Rachel Mann who was diagnosed with morphea several months ago. She is the daughter of Allen and Sheree Mann. Allen is one of our key pastors who teaches at our pastors’ conferences, and he serves as a pastor at Ponderosa Bible Church.
September 2 – Pray for Robert Messier’s recovery from knee surgery.
September 3 – Pray for the stamina of Dean, as he is now into his travel schedule again. He doesn’t seem to be getting any younger!
September 4 – Pray for greater fearlessness as we each have opportunity to share our faith in Christ.
September 5 – Pray for Bruce McIntosh, our Member Care Director, as he researches various counseling seminars and develops his own. Pray also for his upcoming trip to teach at the Pastors’ Conference in Kenya (Oct. 30 – Nov. 6). To read Bruce’s latest prayer letter, seehttp://gocrossway.org/wp-
September 6 – Pray for Merle Admire and his work load as a Master Electrician. He is also serving as a missionary and Regional Director with CrossWay International and is looking to the Lord for more prayer partners and support so he can do even more on the mission field. September 7 – Pray for Fernando Diaz in Spain as we hope to do more together in the future. Pray also for his support needs.
September 8 – Pray for Isaac Zoedah and Josephus Gersinee, our coworkers in Liberia who are assisting us with the help to orphans and needy kids, water wells, and evangelism. Dean will be seeing them in Liberia the third week of September.
September 9 – Pray for Melaku and Sosi, his wife. Melaku is finalizing the last steps in getting our medical clinic registered and opened in Meki, Ethiopia. To read more about Melaku, seehttp://gocrossway.org/wp-
September 10 – Pray for Joe Shepard, our Overseas Financial Manager, as he continues to tweak and oversee our financial accounts for our many overseas projects.
September 11 – Pray for Dean as he speaks to one of our most supportive groups for our water well ministry and other ministries (the Open Door Class in San Antonio).
September 12 – Pray for our Board of Directors for CrossWay International as they oversee the many aspects of all we are doing. Pray, too, for our upcoming Board meeting to be held sometime in October.
September 13 – Pray for Joan as she serves as our Office Manager and has to deal with all the needed forms for our IRS, as well as other financial issues.
September 14 – Pray for more laborers in the many countries in which we work. We could use a key person in Nicaragua, and Dean will interview them while there (Aug. 22 – 26).
September 15 – Pray for Robert and Ann Messier as they continue to make progress in their mission work to Nicaragua. Pray for Robert’s pursuit of studies at the Moody Bible Institute, which he starts this month, and also for their support needs. September 16 – Pray for more opportunities for each of us to share our faith in Christ. And may each of us be alert to the opportunities that God brings our way.
September 17 – Pray for Dean as he leaves for the country of Liberia to oversee 50 of our orphans and needy kids and start the set up of our water well drilling ministry in this desperately poor country.
September 18 – Pray for the well at the school that Isaac is lining up for us in partnership with Serve the Children in Liberia.
September 19 – Pray for our Water Well Drilling Ministry in Kenya, too, and for the needed funding to get more wells drilled so that we might gain a hearing for the gospel of God’s grace.
September 20- Pray for Ken Gatithi (General Manager – Kenya) and Geoffrey Ndungu (Drilling Director) as they work through prioritizing and assessing of future wells in Kenya in the eastern Province, the most drought-stricken area of this country.
September 21 – Pray for Bob Nicol, an Engineer and missionary with CrossWay, as he makes plans to visit our target countries and advise them on how to proceed in an efficient manner. Pray, too, for his support needs. To read Bob’s latest prayer letter, seehttp://gocrossway.org/wp-
September 22 – Pray for the clarity of the gospel and that each one of us would express it in clear terms, making clear that it is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, who died for our wrongs and rose from the dead.
September 23 – Pray for the upcoming Pastors’ Conference to around 50 Pastors in Kenya and for one more needed teacher (Oct. 30 – Nov. 6).
September 24 – Pray for more orders for our CrossWay Gift Cube which clearly sets out and even tests the listener on his understanding of grace.
September 25 – Pray for God to raise up the right man whom Dean can train to assist him in overseeing our ministry.
September 26 – Pray for the swift spreading of the gospel around the world and that it might be honored even as it is among us.
September 27 – Pray for some health issues that are troubling Joan, as she has some unexplained pains in her arms.
September 28 – Pray for all those who travel to lands and put their lives in harm’s way. Pray that God might keep each one safe.
September 29 – Pray for our many orphans and needy kids that God has given us and for their support needs and salvation.
September 30 – Pray for God to use all of our many ministries to serve as a platform for preaching the gospel of God’s grace.
