Joan Thompson Chollar is the Office Manager for CrossWay International.  She was 16 when she first understood the free gift of eternal life that God offered her through faith in Jesus Christ.  She graduated from Florida Bible College (B.A. in Biblical Education) in 1971, and from St. Petersburg Jr. College (A.S. in Nursing) in 1973.  She married Dean in 1973.  While Dean was at Florida Bible College, their first child, Jason, was born in 1975.  Rachel was born in 1976 while Dean was at Capitol Bible Seminary in Maryland.  Micah was born in 1978 while Dean was ministering in a church in San Antonio, Texas, and Bethany was born in 1984 while Dean was building houses in Arlington, Texas.  The Lord has allowed Joan to be a full-time homemaker while the children were at home, as well as to minister alongside Dean, in Belgium and in America.  She has enjoyed ministry with children, youth, and women in both countries.  Her time is spent now in helping Dean in the office and with the website, and with spending as much time as possible enjoying her12 grandchildren.
