November 2020 Prayer Update:

How to Pray for CrossWay International

Wisdom for New Projects

Alternate text

Our teams in Nicaragua and Kenya have both been researching future outreach and mercy projects, as well as evaluating and optimizing previous ones.  Some, like the milk goats for widows program and the Baldizon Bathroom project seemed to be very successful, and our field directors and their teams have been looking for how to expand and find additional similar projects for the future.  There are also a number of new, innovative approaches that are being considered and even beta tested as we speak that we hope to launch soon.  The need is always greater than our available resources - so please pray that God would give us wisdom about the most wise and pleasing way to Him to spend our time and energy.  Thanks!

Kevin Aguilar - Nicaragua

Moses Gatura, his family and the rest of our coworkers in Kenya - and Kevin Aguilar, his family and the rest of our coworkers in Nicaragua - have battled through a number of sicknesses with fever, aches, loss of taste and smell, etc. - pretty scary symptoms in these turbulent times, and so far all have recovered fully.  The health-care systems available to them are quite limited.  Please pray that the Lord continues to bring them healing and gives them full health so they can serve Him with their full strength!

Wisdom for Travel Plans

When will international travel be safe?  The U.S. State Department still has level 3 travel advisory warnings for both Kenya and Nicaragua - "Reconsider Travel".  On the one hand, we want to be safe and careful.  On the other hand, we long to visit our dear brothers and sisters in person to encourage them and labor together for the Kingdom.  We don't want to allow fear of potential harm to be the primary motivator for what we do, nor a lack of faith - as if God needs us, which He doesn't.  Please pray for wisdom and leading from the Holy Spirit as we continue to research future travel plans.

For CrossWay International: Jason, Dean, and Joan Chollar

These are certainly crazy times we are living in.  Thank you for your faithful partnership, and let's keep praying, and not become weary in doing good!

"Pray without ceasing." 1 Thessalonians 5:17

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9

Why?  Because our God is so great!  Like He describes himself:

Exodus 34:6 "The LORD passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The LORD! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness."

Would you like to partner with us to continue to make things like this happen?

to look after orphans and widows in their distress

and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
