Timeless Treasures for Troubled Orphans
We are excited to kick off a new project to put a smile on the face of many orphans. As you may know, we have some needy children (the CrossWay Kids) in Sudan, mostly from the Darfur region. They have very limited or no medical care, a worn set of shorts and shirt, no shoes and a school with four blackboards and only the Bible as their school book to attend. We also have some blind and needy children in Kenya at a school that need our help as well.
One way you might be able to help is to prayerfully consider giving your unwanted jewelry to CrossWay International so we can melt it down and refine it. We have a trusted friend ready to do all of this for us free of charge. A simple gold ring or bracelet or necklace can bring hundreds of dollars on the open market. Those involved in this kind of work are ready to assist us, but we need your help. All we need is some old jewelry. Perhaps you could check your jewelry box or drawers and see what you can find? Why not send your treasures ahead of you to heaven where moths and rust do not destroy and thieves do not steal.
Here’s a list of gold and silver jewelry we’re looking for:
1. Rings of all kinds (class rings, wedding rings, with all kinds of jewels too)
2. Necklaces
3. Earrings
4. Bracelets
5. Lockets, pendants and cuff links
6. Scrap dental gold (okay, I know this sounds gross, but some people have this. Ask Grandma and Grandpa.)
A tax receipt will also be available, as we are a non-profit, tax exempt organization. Just package the items up and mail them to:
CrossWay International
PO Box 1784
Boerne, TX 78006
It is our prayer and hope that this will be a source of great comfort and help to those in need as we continue to share God’s love both spiritually and physically.
Blessings,

Matthew 6:19-21: “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where
moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up
for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and
where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there
your heart will be also.”
