More emails … if you want them …
Time is a precious resource. We appreciate your willingness to give us the gift of your precious time and attention.
We all know that we live in an increasingly complex world, including when it comes to getting information to you. Remember the old days where the only option was physically printing on paper and sending through the US Postal Service? Now we have email, website, facebook, youtube, vimeo, instagram, … the list just keeps expanding – but not everyone has or uses every platform.
We believe that how we spend our time and what we lift in prayer matters to God!
Because of the convictions about prayer that we have long held, … once upon a time, my blind father would prepare a plain text “monthly prayer calendar email” with a prayer request item for each day of the month, sent out at the end of each month for people to potentially print and put into their Bibles. Over time things shifted and we began including pictures and more specific information instead of one short line for each day.
And now, with our fast paced world, I (Jason) am in constant communication with our team, and there are so many things that I would love to bring to your attention more frequently and in a more timely manner than once a month, so you are able to more specifically pray, and get reports on how God answers!
Because of all of this, we are going to be experimenting with making some changes to the way we keep you updated, giving you access to short but more frequent updates, if you want them – or we’ll send a summary at the end of the month, if you’d rather only get one email per month.
We want YOU to be in the driver’s seat! So, at the bottom of every email, you may or may not have noticed that there is a “Manage Email Preferences” link. If you click on this, you will see a number of options including:
- All News
- Monthly Summary
- Special/Annual
- Donation Receipts
Or, you can always choose to unsubscribe, as well, of course.
We hope that the information that we send and the options offered here work for YOU, so you have more granular control of the amount and frequency of emails that come into your inbox!
