May 2016 – Prayer Calendar
First Week of May
- Pray for the many Public School teachers who indicated they came to faith in Christ on Dean’s last mission trip to Liberia. And pray that the 200 teachers who were invited to this Teachers Conference will take the Gospel, and what they were taught to their 7,000 students in the Ganta area. The government of Liberia has given their blessings and allows this. Amazing!!
- Pray for the needed directions and support for our CrossWay Christian School in Liberia for our 170 orphans and needy kids. We are looking to the Lord to provide a permanent building for at least 3 classrooms and Isaac, our Field Director, would need to start soon on this project to have it ready by September.
- Pray for Jason Chollar while he continues his deputation work and looks to the Lord for his needed prayer and financial support as a faith missionary.
Second Week of May
- Pray for Dean who heads off to the Washington State area to visit churches and to visit with the head of another Christian organization that is active in Liberia to see how we might work more closely together.
- Pray for Bruce McIntosh, our International Training Specialist, and his wife, Deb. Bruce is working on writing some discipleship material and staying closer at home due to health concerns of Deb and his son, Sean.
Third Week of May
- Keep praying for Jasmina Caldera, the wife of our Field Director in Nicaragua who is recovering from her cancer treatment and its side effects.
- Pray for Gary Jones, our International Training Director who is planning a pastor’s conference in Peru for August. He is also looking at a pastor’s conference in July to Nicaragua or after his trip to Peru.
- Pray for Melaku Abebe, our Field Director in Ethiopia, who is overseeing our school in Meki with 237 kids now. He is also leading a church plant in Addis.
Fourth Week of May
- Dean leaves for Kenya on May 22 (second trip this year) but this time with 3 others. They will be teaching a pastors conference for 50 pastors, assisting widows by giving out milk goats and evangelizing communities in rural areas.
- Pray also for Ken, our Field Director in Kenya, who is lining up all the details for this mission trip and continues to oversee and provide water to the desolate areas of Kenya.
