November 29. God is working. It is an honor to see it. I'm having a hard time keeping up with it all and reporting it to you! Here are some snippets though: |

Will you pray for Melissa? She hasn't been feeling the best and has had to miss some of the sessions. She has started a round of antibiotics that we hope will help. Utlimately, though, our hope is in God, the mighty Healer who hears our prayers!

Couples Conference - Marriages Transformed |
Thank you for sending us as your representatives to bring the truth of God's word to our dear brothers and sisters here. The truths from scripture as taught in the "Called 2 Love" curriculum are nothing short of transformational. These truths have really ministered to our hearts (Jason and Melissa). And we are getting to watch the transformations of these marriages right in front us. We can see eyes being opened to the richness of spiritual and emotional intimacy that God intends for our marriages to have. I am convinced that the impact of this "couples conference" is going to be felt far and wide. It is truly an honor to have the opportunity to watch it happen to these dear brothers and sisters up close.
Please pray for the spiritual battle that is going on right now, that Satan would NOT be able to drive any wedges in between these couples and that they would continue to put into practice the things that they are learning here! |

When is the last time you were in a worship service with multiple langues, tribes, nations gathered together - all worshipping God and agreeing together that "Jesus is Lord" and "worthy to receive honor and glory and power forever!" - in many languages? When is the last time you have been in a service where people are loudly rejoicing and dancing with all of their hearts to the Lord? Have you ever experienced this? I'm telling you - the people here have a LOT to TEACH US about what it means to genuinely worship the Lord with all of our "strength", using our full bodies in genuine celebration and worship!

It is an honor to participate in this conference and bring teaching from God's word. We can see God's rescue plan revealed from Genesis to revelation, just like it says in 2 Timothy |

We are so thankful for the donations you all give so we can come and be a blessing. All of this costs money: plane tickets, travel expenses, food for the couples for the "couples conference" (they would not be able to afford to come on their own, most are struggling to just put food on the table for their families). Part of the reason people have ears to hear us is because we are proving our care for them by helping them in tangible ways. I will be sharing more about mercy projects: community infrastructure outreach projects like water systems, business start-up loans for "tent-maker" pastors, ...
And these people are doing the same! I have personally seen and heard how believers from one area of Kenya - where there has been at least some rain - are collecting offerings and delivering them to dear brothers and sisters in other parts of Kenya who have had almost no rain and are struggling without enough food to eat! Out of their relative poverty. They are sharing with their suffering brothers and sisters to show love, mercy and blessing. It is honeslty inspiring, convicting and humbling.
Our gifts can go a LONG way toward being a blessing to our dear brothers and sisters here. You can have a part in it. Thank you for your prayers and gifts! |
