It was a very successful camp a total of 92 children and 17 teachers and staff participated throughout the week. In addition to teaching, coaching, and counseling, the campers also enjoyed games and a swimming session for fun and fellowship.
The theme for the week came from Jeremiah 23:24:
“Can anyone hide from me? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and earth?” asks the Lord.
Throughout the camp, the children learned about God’s omnipresence through Bible stories such as Adam and Eve, Jonah, and Ananias and Sapphira, among many others.
The camp also included a three-day open-air gospel crusade, and we are thankful to share that 39 young people put their trust in Christ during this time. We praise God for His faithfulness.
We are truly grateful because through this camp, the youth are able to grow spiritually, strengthen their faith, and build meaningful relationships with God and with one another.
Teaching Biblical principles at the camp

That is not a common phrase in even the more healthy churches in Kenya. Children, especially, are taught not to ask questions in church and to believe the people in authority explicitly. Sadly, as they grow into adulthood, even a change to a different church could result in being ousted from their community. Our team is dedicated to teaching young people that questioning statements or ideas is a good thing following the example of Jesus and his disciples.
Our prayer is that young people will not simply adopt their parents beliefs but develop a genuine and personal relationship with Jesus Christ—one grounded in truth, Scripture, and walking in the Spirit.
We thank God for a very successful camp and look forward to many more in 2026. We are grateful our prayer partners, supporters, and the planning team for their commitment to sharing the Gospel of Grace.
