In the summer of 2024, we sent Moses off to the “Foundations for Farming” training facility in Zimbabwe to learn biblical small scale farming methods. We had heard great things about the training in other parts of the world, and so he came back eager to see how it would work out in his area. In the pictures, photo album and video below, you can see just what a huge difference that these farming methods can make.
Moses leased a section of his neighbors field. His neighbor rented machinery to come in and plow, while Moses used a simple hoe to set up individual “planting stations”, where he planted by hand. He hasn’t even implemented all of the techniques he learned, but already you can see the amazing difference! Can you tell in the image below, where Moses’ field starts?
