Dear brothers and sisters, would you pray for Moses and Isaac as they receive training in a method of evangelism and community development called “Community Health Evangelism”?
Community Health Evangelism Training
Community Health Evangelism (or CHE for short) is another methodology that I have recently discovered in my studies. CHE seems to be particular successful in poor, rural communities, like the ones we primarily minister to. This method emphasizes empowering poor communities, helping them to break out of the unbiblical mindsets that are keeping them trapped in poverty. The track record for this methodology is very impressive, making lasting positive changes in the communities that are willing to implement it. It is a more in depth process, so slower in the beginning, but the physical and spiritual results seem to be transformative and long lasting.
- Pray for Moses and Isaac who are in training now in Nairobi on this first week of October, that they may both be able to fully understand and retain all that they are learning!
- Pray for wisdom from the Lord to know best how to APPLY this learning to advance God’s kingdom!
- Pray for Moses’ and Isaac’s families back home, while they are away.
- Pray especially for Isaac’s mother, who “is still very sick, she can’t even move.” Please remember her in your prayers.
