In mid April of 2025, we are bringing out Alfredo A., an expert trainer from Panama who works with “Equipping Farmers International!” (EFI) to do two 3 day conferences for Nicaragua farmers. He specializes in training farmers in biblical “Conservation Agriculture”, a sustainable and organic farming method (similar to Foundations for Farming). Alfredo has trained and served all over the world including Africa, Columbia, Guatemala and many others, but this is his first time to Nicaragua!
Training will include:
* Sustainable Agricultural Principles
* Evangelism & Discipleship through Farming

Many farmers do not attend church, so we are hoping this will be fertile ground for sowing seeds of the gospel! And for those who are already believers, farming practices provide many hands on illustrations for discipleship. Our plan is to invite over 40 farmers to each conference, for a total reach of up to 80 Nicaraguan farmers.
