On February 5, Kevin and I (Josue) decided to go to the central park to plant the seed of the gospel. As Kevin and I were sharing the gospel in Masaya central Park, a local pastry seller, Armando Pacheco, stopped to listen to us from a distance. I saw his interest in hearing the word of God so I approached him. He asked me “Are you Christians?” I replied, “Yes, we are Christians.” He was very eager to learn how to share the gospel in places like a park. I asked him what church he attends and he said that he goes to “Iglesia Cuadrangular”. We went through some bible verses together that he can use to evangelize, such as John 3:16, Romans 3:23 , Ephesians 2: 8-10. Then I asked him, “What is it that we need to do to be saved?” At first, he remained quiet and then he said that we have to be faithful to Jesus. I went through John 3:16 again with him and explained to him that our salvation is by grace just through trusting in Christ alone. I used the crossway Gospel gift cube and I explained to him how it works. Then I showed him the verses he could mention while doing the Gospel gift cube, he said that he would love to share the gospel and use this great tool “the Gospel gift cube” which makes it very easy to understand.
So I gave Armando the gift cube I was using. He was very thankful, and I also shared with him about our ministry and how we focus on sharing the Gospel clearly and training others to do the same. Please pray for him and that I might be able to follow up on him some day soon.
