Sagana Widows Collect a 4,000 pound Offering!
Can you believe it?
- After surviving 2 years of drought
- despite still living in extreme poverty, living in what we would call “shacks” with dirt floors
- despite having only 60%-80% of what a “typical” harvest would be
The widows collected 20 bags, with each bag weighing 200 lbs! 17 of these bags were maize (corn) and 3 bags of beans! This was their thankgiving offering that Moses will soon be delivering, on their behalf, to some other widows in Kenya that have been struggling with similar drought, but didn’t get as much rain as our widows in Sagana. In fact, the widows in Sagana have collected so much that we are splitting it up into thirds, to pass out in three different regions in Kenya!
Challenge: Would You Like to Join Us in Matching the Generosity of the Sagana Widows?
If possible, we would like to collect $2658 of this as soon as possible so we can purchase supplies and make our first delivery this next weekend!

Please designate the funds “Kenya Widows Offering” so we know this is the project you specifically want to support.
If you are sending a check through the mail, could you let us know the amount in an email, so we can authorize Moses to go ahead and purchase the supplies right away? Thank you!
And now, brothers and sisters, we want you to know
about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches.
In the midst of a very severe trial,
their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.
For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability.
Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us
for the privilege of sharing in this service to the Lord’s people.
And they exceeded our expectations!
