Dean returned on November 20th from his mission trip with Dr. Katie Buck, Susan Buchanan, R.N. and our Construction Consultant, Steve Buchanan. They met up with Bob Nicol, our Engineering Consultant and progress was made on all fronts.:
1. Very sick children and orphans received medical care that was not available in their town of Meiki, Ethiopia (pop. 60,000) 2. Plans are being drawn up to renovate the building on the newly purchased land in Meki for a medical clinic.
3. A water well and distribution system has been researched and this should be completed in several months to provide clean and safe water for this area of the community.
4. Dean was able to preach several times and assist in the ordination of one new pastor.
They want to thank everyone for their prayers and support in making this a successful mission trip of mercy to those in need.
