Many of you know that one of the ways we reach out to widows in Kenya, is to provide some with milk goats. The widows are then instructed to pass along two of their milk goat’s offspring to other widows, to help spread the blessings around, multiplying the blessing.
We aren’t able to provide pictures and tracking of every single one, of course, … but it is very rewarding to see examples, especially with pictures, from time to time.
Here are a couple of pictures of the new baby “kids” born to “Mercy” the milk goat who was provided by one of our donors (Irene) in the US, to a widow named Julia Wanjiru, and 80 year old widow from Ndigaru, a village about 2 kilometers from Riamugaa.
If you would like to help us with this specific ministry of providing milk goats to widows, simply give a donation and ask that the money be used towards the “milk goat” project, and sign up for our email newsletter so you don’t miss a beat!
