Hungry Widows in Sagana, Kenya
For the past 2 years, there has been an extreme drought that has plagued parts of Kenya. In March of this year (2023), the hunger had become quite acute. Moses, our field director, began receiving urgent calls for help from hungry widows.

Because of your generous donations, we were able to help some widows in Sagana, Kenya, near our headquarters, to be able to have some food and some seeds for planting.
This graph shows average rainfall in Sagana in a typical year, but the last 2 years they have had almost NONE!
Sagana Widows Collect an Offering for other widows!
Then, in August, once the harvest had come in, these same poor widows from the Sagana area decided to take up an offering to share with other widows, from areas that had not had as much rain as they had during this past rainy season, and they collected 4,000 lbs of food!

Now Food is brought from Sagana and Delivered to Widows in Naivasha!
Above is a video clip of some of the celebration in Naivasha, as the widows received food from their fellow widows, along with funds raised by CrossWay International partners.

There are more widows that we are hoping to help. We want to SHOW them the love of God in tangible ways. We want to TELL them about the forgiveness Jesus offers us, by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone! And we want to TEACH them, inviting them to follow in obedience to all Jesus taught!
